New England winter (finally) arrived in proper, fashionably late form. While much of the coast experienced milder temps and freezing rain, the White Mountains were amongst the zones experiencing deep, fresh and surprisingly dry, snow. Knowing this, a shotgun decision was made and we hopped into a northbound car determined to outrun the icy, traffic riddled roads.
Four ish hours later, we pulled in to the house and unloaded gear amidst the still dumping snow. Vibes were high and powder panic was alive! After quick gear prep and some Live Olympic viewing, we shut it down.
A quick scoop of Seagreen in a mug of hot water, mind skiing the pow.
Delicious, tasty fuel from kelp and mushrooms and we're ready to rip!
Motivation was at an all time high and we succeeded in snagging first chair (first people on the chairlift for the day). Having not been in a new snow situation for over a year, that indescribable feeling of floating through the white fluff was more than welcomed.
Riding deep powder bell to bell was an absolute treat! With energy to spare, the superfood + collagen + adaptogen blend had done its job. The crew scored an empty day of blissful shredding that wouldn't soon be forgotten.
Shred pow and drink Seagreen!
